【本篇學習重點】

一、為什麼需要使用定量噴霧吸入劑：
經由吸入藥物的方式，從支氣管吸收支氣管擴張劑、抗發炎或抗過敏的藥物，作為慢性阻塞性肺病、氣喘、支氣管痙攣等疾病的預防和治療。

應確實遵從醫師開的處方用藥，不可以自己增加或減少吸藥的次數，也不能自行停藥。
如果吸藥後出現呼吸困難、心跳加快、頭暈等不舒服的症狀，休息10分鐘後觀察，如果症狀仍持續，請儘速就醫。
每次使用後以清水沖洗吸藥輔助器，甩乾水之後自然風乾(不要使用清潔劑、不要擦乾)。清潔之後將藥物儲存在室溫乾燥的地方，不可以放在冰箱，冰箱有濕氣會讓藥物結塊而塞住出口。
如果同時使用支氣管擴張劑和類固醇，請先使用①支氣管擴張劑，讓支氣管擴張，5分鐘後再使用 ②類固醇，這樣藥物才能有效吸收。
吸入含有類固醇的噴霧劑後，必須使用溫開水或漱口水漱口，清潔口腔，以避免口腔感染。(延伸閱讀：使用類固醇之照護)
定量噴霧劑的設計日新月異，目前有許多不同廠牌及設計，使用前請先諮詢醫師、護理師或藥師，並參考藥品使用說明書。
