1. 若您有服用抗凝血或清血藥物，請主動告知醫師，因此類藥物會影響凝血功能，需請醫師評估是否需要提前暫停服用，以減少出血的風險。
2. 經醫師說明後填寫檢查同意書。
3. 檢查當天可以吃任何食物、水，不需要空腹，請穿著寬鬆衣褲。
4. 檢查前請先小便。

1. 維持側臥姿勢(蝦米狀)或平躺(較少見)，以利檢查(圖一)。
2. 注射局部麻醉藥物以減輕檢查過程酸痛的感覺，再以穿刺針插入 腸骨進入骨髓腔內，抽出骨髓組織。
3. 過程中可能會有局部酸痛的感覺，此時可多深呼吸來放鬆全身肌肉，並緩和緊張情緒，絕對不要扭動身體或伸手碰觸穿刺部位，以免造成傷口污染或穿刺失敗，檢查過程中有任何不舒服，請立即告知在場的醫師或檢查人員。
